Conditions for donation
Remember that you donate blood to help a sick and weakened person. Before each donation, confirm by signing the "Blood Donor Questionnaire" that you do not consider yourself to be at risk. Most people meet the necessary conditions for donation, so we are happy to welcome you to our department - whether as a new or regular blood donor.
A healthy person who meets the following conditions can become a donor:
- Age 18-65 ( donation can be made until 66th birthday).
- A person can become a first-time donor only up to the age of 60 (till the 61st birthday).
- Minimum weight 50 kg.
- They are not alcoholics or drug users, nor have they been treated for substance abuse or alcoholism.
- They do not belong to the so-called group of people with risky behaviour (drug use, sex life with drugs addicts, promiscuous lifestyle, especially with foreign partners, etc.).
- They are not HIV positive, they are not in a close relationship with an HIV positive person.
- They are not monitored in the connection with venereal disease.
- There was no infectious hepatitis B, C or other serious liver disease.
- There is no one with Creutzfeld-Jakob disease in any blood relatives.
- There was no tuberculosis, syphilis, malaria or any other tropical disease.
- There was no typhus or paratyphoid.
- There was no tularemia, nor brucellosis.
- There is no diseases of the nervous system - epilepsy or multiple sclerosis.
- There is no psychiatric illness.
- Nemá celiakii nebo Crohnovu nemoc.
- There is no rheumatic disease.
- There is no serious skin disease.
- They are not severe-allergy sufferers with year-round difficulties.
- There are no serious chronic diseases of the lungs, heart and blood vessels, kidneys, digestive tract.
- There is no chronic blood disease.
- They are not insulin-treated diabetics - treatment with oral antidiabetic drugs (PAD) without support therapy can be accepted.
- They are not treated with human growth hormone or any other preparation with human pituitary gland.
- They had no transplantation of organs, including the cornea.
- They did not live in England or France for more than 12 months between 1980 and 1996.
Všechna onemocnění prodělaná během života je nutno uvést před odběrem krve – viz Dotazník pro dárce. Další formality a vyšetření provedeme na transfúzním oddělení bezprostředně před odběrem krve. Darování krve může být uskutečněno pouze v případě vyhovujících výsledků těchto vyšetření.
