Rheumatology clinic

The rheumatology clinic deals with inflammatory and non-inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Among inflammatory diseases, rheumatoid arthritis is represented in the largest number, followed by spondylarthritis (ankylosing, psoriatic, reactive), and among non-inflammatory diseases, osteoarthritis and crystal arthropathies (e.g. gout). It also treats patients with systemic diseases such as scleroderma, systemic lupus, dermatomyositis and others.
The most modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are used for rheumatology patients and the workplace is one of the first centres in the Czech Republic providing biological treatment in rheumatology.
