2. Safety when using risky medicines

We emphasize safe storage and administration of risky drugs (addictive substances, heparins, insulins, concentrated electrolytes). At the Hospital Jihlava, risky drugs are stored separately from commonly used drugs in each ward to prevent possible misuse or incorrect administration. Before handling a risky drug, the health care worker is repeatedly warned about the risks involved in its administration.
