Diabetology and metabolic clinic

Diabetology clinic of Jihlava Hospital provides diagnosis, education, treatment and long-term monitoring of patients with type diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2. It provides care for patients treated with an insulin pump, gestational diabetics, offers continuous glucose monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of fat metabolism - metabolic outpatient clinic. In collaboration with a number of disciplines (angiology, ophthalmology, neurology, surgery), it carries out prevention and early diagnosis of late complications of diabetes, especially diabetic foot (podiatry). It provides consultative services for hospitalized diabetic patients.
